This policy explains what data the ContactFinder browser extension ("the extension") accesses, how it is used, and what it is never used for. The extension is a thin client for your existing ContactFinder account; all contact lookups, billing, and storage happen in the ContactFinder service under the same terms as the ContactFinder website.

1. Single purpose

The extension has one purpose: to help you find business contact information (work email and phone) for a person or a role at a company, using your ContactFinder account — either from a LinkedIn page you are actively viewing, or from details you type in.

2. What the extension accesses

Data	When	Why
The URL and visible details (name, job title, company) of a LinkedIn page you are actively viewing — an individual profile or a company page.	Only when you click the extension and ask it to look up the current page.	To identify the person/company you want contact information for.
Search terms you type (name, company, job title).	When you use manual search.	To search for matching people.
Your ContactFinder login session (an authentication cookie set by contactfinder.top).	On every request to the ContactFinder service.	To authenticate you so results are tied to your account and billed correctly.
Contact results (emails, phone numbers, company data) returned for people you unlock.	When you unlock a contact.	To display them to you and save them to your ContactFinder account, exactly as the website does.

3. What it does with the data

Sends the page URL / your search terms to the ContactFinder service to find and deliver contact information to your own account.
Contact data is sourced and verified through ContactFinder's third-party B2B data providers, as part of providing this single purpose (see Chrome's Limited Use).
Nothing is stored by the extension itself except your session state (in the browser's local storage), to keep you signed in.

4. What it never does

No background scraping or crawling. It only reads the single page you are actively viewing, and only when you click — never automatically, never other pages, never in the background.
No selling or sharing your data with advertisers, data brokers, or resellers.
No advertising, retargeting, or interest-based profiling.
No use for creditworthiness or lending decisions.
No reading of non-LinkedIn browsing. Manual search reads no web page at all.

5. Permissions & why

sidePanel — to show the extension's docked side-panel interface.
activeTab / tabs — to read the URL of the tab you are on when you click, so the extension knows which LinkedIn page you want looked up.
scripting — to read the visible name/company from the LinkedIn page you are viewing, only on your click.
storage — to remember that you are signed in (session state only; never your password or any access token).
Host access to contactfinder.top — so requests carry your ContactFinder session and results are billed to your account. The extension does not take standing background access to linkedin.com.

6. Data retention & your rights

Contact results are stored in your ContactFinder account and governed by the ContactFinder service terms. You can view, export, or request deletion of your data by contacting us. Uninstalling the extension removes its local session state immediately.

1. 单一用途

插件只有一个用途：用您的 ContactFinder 账号，为某个人或某公司的某个职位查找商务联系方式（工作邮箱、电话）——来源要么是您正在查看的 LinkedIn 页面，要么是您手动输入的信息。

2. 插件访问什么

您正在查看的某个 LinkedIn 页面（个人主页或公司页）的 URL 与可见信息（姓名、职位、公司）—— 仅在您点击插件、要求查当前页时读取。
您手动输入的搜索词（姓名、公司、职位）。
您的 ContactFinder 登录会话（contactfinder.top 下发的鉴权 cookie）——用于认证您，使结果归属您的账号并正确计费。
您解锁某人时返回的联系方式（邮箱/电话/公司信息）——展示给您并存入您的 ContactFinder 账号，与官网一致。

3. 数据用途

把页面 URL / 您的搜索词发给 ContactFinder 服务，查找并把联系方式交付到您自己的账号。
联系方式经 ContactFinder 的第三方 B2B 数据供应商获取与校验，仅用于实现上述单一用途。
插件本身除保存您的登录会话状态（存在浏览器本地存储、用于保持登录）外，不存储任何数据。

4. 绝不做的事

不后台爬取：只读您正在看的那一个页面、且只在您点击时读——绝不自动、不读别的页、不后台跑。
不出售/不分享您的数据给广告商、数据经纪商或转售方。
不做广告、重定向或兴趣画像。
不用于信用评分或放贷决策。
不读取非 LinkedIn 的浏览内容；手动搜索完全不读任何网页。

5. 权限与理由

sidePanel：显示插件的停靠侧边栏。
activeTab / tabs：您点击时读取当前标签页 URL，以便知道您要查哪个 LinkedIn 页。
scripting：仅在您点击时，读取您正在看的 LinkedIn 页面上可见的姓名/公司。
storage：记住您已登录（仅会话状态；绝不存密码或任何令牌）。
对 contactfinder.top 的访问：让请求带上您的 ContactFinder 会话、结果计入您的账号。插件不对 linkedin.com 取得常驻后台访问权。

6. 数据留存与您的权利

联系方式结果存于您的 ContactFinder 账号，受 ContactFinder 服务条款约束。您可联系我们查看、导出或请求删除。卸载插件会立即清除其本地会话状态。
